The right-hand portion of the sled can connect to the right miter slot on a table saw to double as a zero-clearance cut-off table. Expansion washers are included to help secure the miter gauge and sled in the miter slot tightly so that any play or slop will be eliminated when making crosscuts as well as any angled cuts.
Miter Slots I mis-identified one of the jigs I use with the 'miter slot': not a mortise jig, but a tenon jig. I sometimes get the two terms mixed up, just as I sometimes mix up the names of my sons. Not an uncommon problem, I'm told, for us octogenarians. David, you hit the nail on the thumb in clarifying my question. The Incra Miter Express also feature a built-in miter bar which you can adjust to prevent any side play along the miter track. So, even if your old miter gauge is a bit loose, one you’re lock it into the miter express, you can adjust it using the built-in miter bar to prevent any form of play and produce accurate cuts every time. Incra Steel Miter Slider
I used the miter sliders to build a jig to cut pieces for segmented bowls.After adjusting them to my saws miter slots mounting them was easy if you follow the directions.When the jig was dialed in to the angle needed the sliders make the jig slide very easily.I like the fact that they are made of steel and the discs hold up very well to use.

The heavy steel construction is more rigid than any wooden or plastic runners, and they're not susceptible to changes in humidity or temperature. Miter Slider SE bars are drilled and tapped with two separate bolt patterns: (4) #10-24 holes attach the bars quickly to your own custom jigs and they also match perfectly with the INCRA Build-It Panels. These #10 holes are spaced identically to the original Miter Slider, so the Miter Slider SE is a direct, bolt-on upgrade to jigs and fixtures you may have already constructed Miter Sliders. There's also a second set of (3) 1/4'-20 holes evenly spaced along the length to accept knobs and other fasteners commonly used when building jigs and fixtures.
Long-wearing Nylon GlideLOCK adjusting discs conveniently adjust from the top and provide a precise fit in the miter slot of many table saws, router tables, and band saws, and the discs also give the bars a smooth, low-friction travel. The 18' bar has two pairs of discs, and the 25.5' bar has three pairs. Both sizes include removable T-slot retaining clips for BOTH ends of the bar for superior stability of larger jigs.
The Miter Slider SE will fit square-sided miter slots approximately 3/4' wide, 3/8' (19.05 x 9.52 mm) deep, and with or without a 15/16'-wide T-slot at the bottom. The GlideLOCK adjustment will accommodate slots measuring 0.740' to 0.765' (18.8 to 19.4 mm) in actual width.The Miter Slider SE is not recommended for stationary jigs that must be locked into position within a miter slot. The standard aluminum Miter Slider is the best choice for these applications.

Use: Cut a 1-1/8 inch (28.6 mm) wide by 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) deep groove in your application to fit the INCRA T-Slot Miter Channel. When installed, the Miter Channel should sit slightly below the surface of the table. Attach using the supplied fasteners.

These slide nuts made of galvanised steel and fitted with a stainless steel spring plate allow you to extend the application range of your Incra T-track by accessories based on an 8 mm thread. The slide nuts are provided with a spring that exerts an upward force against the track. This makes it easier to reposition them along the track. Occasionally the spring plate will prove an impediment, for instance, if the spring catches in open mounting holes or on slightly protruding fastening screws. In this case simply grip the spring plate with flat pliers and twist it off. The slide nut at the bottom of the picture is shown with the spring removed.

Newer Bessey toggle clamps have a central hole in the base plate that allows them to be fixed to multifunction tables. The same fixing method can also be used for Incra T-tracks. For this application you need the slide nut and the 10 mm long socket head screw.
For more versatility use the clamps in conjunction with a small 10 mm thick slotted board, eg, measuring 150 x 80 mm. This increases the clamping height and, more importantly, lets you use the board as a stop for repeat clamping operations. For this application you need the slide nut and the 20 mm long socket head screw. The board is not part of the kit.
Tip: The bottom holes of the Incra T-track are not countersunk, so we recommend that you use 3 mm panhead screws to fix the T-track in the slot of your worktop. The heads project 2 mm. You can stop the slide nut from catching on the screw heads by removing the spring from the slide nut with a pair of flat pliers. Better still, you can countersink the holes, because you do not have to remove the springs if you use countersunk screws. The countersink must be sufficiently small to get to the bottom of the T-track. Suitable are the Löher taper and deburring countersinks with a maximum diameter of 8 mm.
You can use Incra knobs, brackets and hold-down clamps in panels, ie, without using aluminium T-tracks, by machining your own t-track directly into the panel with this T-Slot Cutters. This custom T-slot takes standard imperial 1/4-20 hex bolts and nuts. Bear in mind that in this case you cannot apply the same force as you would with the Incra T-tracks.
